Hunter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to deny access to the website, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders. If we cancel an order, you will not be charged.

3. Contract with Us

When you place an order to purchase products through this website, we will send you an email confirming receipt of your order and including the details of your order (hereinafter referred to as the "Order Confirmation Email"). The Order Confirmation Email is merely confirmation that we have received your order, but does not constitute an acceptance of your offer to purchase the products you have ordered. We will process your order and take payment from the payment method you selected when placing your order. You may cancel your order without making any payment before we send you an email confirming the shipment of the products. Hunter retains title to the products until Hunter receives full payment for the products ordered. Hunter reserves the right to withhold your order even after the shipment confirmation email has been sent. In the unlikely event that Hunter is unable to supply the products you have ordered due to insufficient stock, your order will be cancelled and a refund will be processed. 

Hunter reserves the right to hold an order prior to delivery at any time. Hunter only delivers products within Japan. If you order for delivery to an area where we cannot deliver, your order will be cancelled and a refund will be processed.

All products purchased from this website are subject to a shipment contract, and risk of loss for the products passes to you upon our delivery to the carrier. Delivery may be delayed from your requested delivery date and time or from the estimated delivery times posted on this website due to peak periods (e.g. New Year holidays, etc.), traffic congestion, or bad weather. 


5. Returns

<General Returns>

Please note that only products purchased directly from this website can be returned using the process described below. For Hunter products purchased in stores or on other websites, please complete the return process at the original retailer or website where the product was purchased. 

If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your Hunter product, please return it in accordance with our return procedure. Hunter reserves the right to refuse any return that is not returned in accordance with our return procedure and may charge you for the cost of returning the product to you. Our return procedure does not affect your statutory rights. 

Products purchased directly from this website (excluding sale items) can be returned within 14 days of receiving the product, provided they are new, unworn and unused. If the conditions are not met, returns and refunds may not be approved. 

<Shipping fee>

a) You will be responsible for the cost of returning the product to us for return shipping. If you send the product back to us at our own expense, we reserve the right to charge you for the direct costs incurred in relation to the return shipping. 

b) In the case of a return, shipping charges will not be refunded. 

c) In the event of a return, you will only receive a refund for the purchase price of your order. 

d) If the return is a result of our error or the product is faulty, we will pay for the return shipping costs and re-delivery costs (where applicable). 

<Return procedure>

Returns of new and unused items

The return conditions are as follows: 

- The product is unused, unworn, unwashed and undamaged. 

- The product is returned in the same packaging as when it was received. 

- The product must be handed over to the delivery company within 14 days from the date of receipt by the customer. 

- The return must be made within Japan. 

・Please note that we cannot accept returns of sale items. 

If the returned product is not available for collection, we will notify you that the return does not meet the conditions set out above. In this case, you may choose to have the product returned to you at your own expense. If you do not wish to return the product, you will be deemed to have waived ownership of the product and Hunter will not be obliged to refund any purchase price already paid by you. 

・We do not accept exchanges of products. 

We recommend that you return the item using a method that provides recorded delivery. 

Hunter cannot issue refunds for items that have not been received, so please make sure to keep all documentation to prove delivery. 

If you wish to return an incorrect item, please contact Customer Service and quote your order number so that they can arrange for the return and refund of shipping costs. 

<How to return a product to us>

When returning an item, please use the "Returns Contact Form" included with the product to return it to our warehouse in accordance with the return conditions described in these terms of sale and enclosed with the delivery note. Only items returned in accordance with the return conditions, these terms of sale, and other rules regarding returns established by our company are eligible for return. In the unlikely event that the conditions of the return conditions or these terms of sale are not met, the item you sent will be returned to you. Please be aware of this in advance. 

If you do not have your invoice , please contact our customer service team by email. 

Please do not ship items back to our headquarters as all returns are processed at our warehouse. 

<Return of defective products>

This policy only applies to products purchased from this website that are still under warranty. For Hunter products purchased in stores or on other websites, please return them to the original store or website where they were purchased.   

For hygiene reasons and to allow for a proper product appraisal, please make sure that the item is returned in a clean, dirt-free and damp condition. 

In the case of defective products, we will respond after inspecting the condition of the product. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please contact our customer service by email . 

Occasionally, boots may have a white discolouration on the surface. This is not a defect, but a natural protective wax that can be easily wiped off with a damp cloth. Refunds will be processed once the returned items arrive at our warehouse.

6. Hunter's Guarantee

Our products are made from high quality materials using innovative design and manufacturing techniques. We take pride in our products and offer a 24 month warranty on most items. 

We offer this guarantee on products purchased through our website www.hunterboots.co.jp. 

Please note that due to the nature and construction of the product, the warranty period for umbrellas is 6 months. We offer warranties on all wellington boots, footwear, bags, clothing and various accessories. 

Boot socks, insoles and care products are not covered by the warranty. 

Repairing a product will automatically void the warranty and the product will not be eligible for return. We do not provide repairs or replacement parts. 

Returns are only available for products purchased through our website www.hunterboots.co.jp or our Ginza store. 

Warranties on products purchased from Hunter authorized retailers are governed by the sales agreement with the retailer.

You cannot make a warranty claim against us for products purchased from unauthorized retailers. 

Please note that exchanging a Hunter product within the warranty period will not extend the warranty period.

We welcome your feedback in order to improve our service. We aim to deal with any issues promptly and fairly. If you have any complaints about our service, please email our customer service team with the nature of your complaint. We aim to respond to complaints within seven business days and resolve or schedule a resolution for your complaint. 


8. Price and Availability

Unless otherwise stated, all prices listed are inclusive of VAT. Product prices do not include shipping charges. We list inventory information for products we sell on this website, including on each product page. Please note that we cannot provide inventory information other than that listed on the relevant page or on this website. Please also note that delivery dates are only estimated delivery dates. Unless otherwise stated, shipping dates are not guaranteed. In accordance with paragraph 3 above, if we are unable to provide the product you have ordered due to stock shortage, your order will be automatically cancelled. In that case, we will send you an email regarding the order cancellation and proceed with the refund procedure. 

While we make every effort to provide accurate information on this website, some items may be listed at incorrect prices. If the correct price is lower than the listed price, we will charge you the lower price and ship the item to you. If the correct price is higher than the listed price, we will either contact you before shipping the item or cancel your order and send you an email regarding the cancellation.
